About Us

People keep coming back to Mack's On The River for good food at the right price.  No matter what you order, it's always served with a smile!

Mack’s has been owned and operated by the McLaurin family since its establishment in 1960 by Odell "Mack" McLaurin. Mack’s was the first "catfish house" in South Mississippi and now has 4 generations serving you, our valued customer. We consider it a privilege to serve your family and want to thank you for being a part of "The Mack’s Family Tradition."

We have gift cards available for purchase at the restaurant during regular business hours. If you prefer, you may email or call me at 601-606-0404 with your purchase information, and I will gladly mail the gift card to you. A nominal $1.00 processing/mailing fee applies. Location

Mack's is located on the "Scenic Bouie River" just off of Hwy 49 North in Hattiesburg, 2.5 miles north of the Interstate 59/ Hwy 49 overpass. Look for the "Big Blue Catfish Sign" at the Pep's Point Road red light. Follow the signs to be a part of a great southern tradition.
